Sales & Marketing Operations Manager

Medrio's software is a critical part of the clinical trial process. We help our customer run more efficient studies at a lower cost, which means lifesaving drugs get to those who need them more quickly. We are currently looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Operations Manager who will expertly execute our sales operations processes. The ideal candidate has experience managing customer related workflows, building revenue analytics, and using Salesforce , Marketo, and Netsuite.

  • Lead Life Cycle Management:
    • Serve as the primary focal point for customer facing processes and operations, spanning across all company departments including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Product, being the authority on managing the end-to-end Lead Lifecycle:
    • Manage the strategy around our customer related workflows, primarily driven by salesforce.com, Marketo, and other systems and tools. Interfacing with Netsuite for “campaign to cash” workflows.
    • Manage the processes and efforts with proposals, pricing, order forms, bookings and commission payment calculation.

 

  • Governance:
    • Manage CRM and MarTech governance, shared definitions, workflows, Salesforce.com, Marketo, marketing nurture campaigns, strategy and processes throughout the company.
    • Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and ensure all new sales processes are implemented consistently across the team.
    • Assist with optimizing the process and routing of inbound and outbound lead generation efficiency. Interface with sales, marketing, and CS to ensure a smooth process and flow.

 

  • Salesforce:
    • Manage how Salesforce operates with our prospect and customer data. Ensure that our primary systems are coordinated across departments and serve the productivity of our customer facing teams.
    • Create reports and dashboards which will provide the needed management and visibility to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product departments.
    • Manage data integrity and data rules of Salesforce.
    • Serve as a key interface between the business use of salesforce.com and our outside programing technical consultant.
  • Marketo:
    • Run all aspects of Marketo marketing automation system and assist with demand gen strategy and tactics. Areas of expertise include:
    • INFRASTRUCTURE:
      • Setting up best practices for Marketo-Salesforce.com integration, file organization, channels, and naming conventions
        • Designing and implementing Lead Scoring along with Alerts and Interesting Moments
  • Marketing Operations:
    • Creating Email, Webinar, Engagement (Nurture) Programs, Smart Campaigns, Smart Lists, Segmentations, etc.
    • Forms creation and progressive profiling
  • Analytics:
    • Building Revenue Cycle Models
    • Analytics/Reporting
    • Troubleshooting
  • Demand Gen Assistance:
    • Email and Landing Page implementation
    • Brainstorming on persona creation & persona-targeted content

Skills/Areas of Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-5 years of sales and marketing operations experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multitask
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Excel and other apps and analytical tools
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Not required but helpful:
    • Experience with web-based subscription software (i.e. SaaS, On-demand, ASP).
    • Experience in medical research, eClinical, or related medical fields.
    • Xactly, ZoomInfo, InsightSquared, Clearslide, Gainsite/Totango/Strikedeck experience a plus
    • Experience in software marketplace preferred
