East Central College is seeking part-time (adjunct) nursing instructors to teach the classroom and clinical components of the curriculum for the areas of pediatrics and medical surgical. Adjuncts are responsible for providing effective learning experiences in the classroom and/or clinical.
Adjuncts are needed to teach day, evening and/or weekend classes at the main campus in Union and the Rolla site.
ECC offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing. A LPN to RN Bridge program is available for LPN's interested in becoming registered nurses. The nursing program has state-of-the-art clinical labs which utilize technology and high-fidelity human patient simulators.

Minimum Qualifications: (A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.) A bachelor's degree in nursing, plus two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in the related field of nursing and an undisciplined Missouri RN license is required; a master's degree in nursing is preferred.
Pay Rate: Adjuncts are hired on a per semester basis and are eligible to teach a maximum of 18 credit hours per calendar year and up to 9 credit hours per semester.
Rate based on degree per credit hour (PCH): $600 PCH with Associate/Bachelor degree, $620 PCH with Master degree and $640 PCH with Academic Doctoral degree.
