SupplySMART is an advisory service that assesses a customer’s energy commodity purchasing options and risks through a competitive process and delivers recommendations that seeks to deliver the most competitive supply terms available in the market. As an Account Manager for our SupplySMART practice, based in our Boston Headquarters, you will be responsible for helping customers navigate the complex energy commodity markets and buy energy more cost-effectively. You will educate clients on energy market conditions, assess risk parameters, develop purchasing strategies, manage competitive bidding and work with our team of analysts to provide on-going reporting for clients. Given your consultative skills, you will serve as a trusted adviser to the clients through this process, enabling them to better mitigate risk and save money. Using your impressive written and verbal communication skills, you will successfully analyze complex information, execute a concise executive summary that will highlight the important take away points, and present this information to your customers, including senior level executives. Quantitatively you will be in constant contact with forward energy markets, broader economic issues, weather and other cost drivers. While a background in our industry is not required, understanding of the energy industry is helpful. Your passion for clean technology markets is critical and will keep you attuned to efforts across our organization and the current industry trends.
